Highline Premier Football Club

The girls started their extra training today on a hot day at Moshier Field.  They worked on ball control, trapping, turns and speed.   They finished off the two hour sessions with some tough conditioning drills.   Then home to rest up for a 5:00 pm  practice session at the starfire complex.

The second day  brought more hot weather,  one on one scrimage with passes and scoring opportunities, topped of with more of coaches conditioning drills.

On the third day the grass was turning brown from a relentless summer sun.  The girls brought their water jugs and spent the session working on fighting for position on the ball.  Again with some serious reps on the cones for conditioning at the end of the session.  Again for these girls, on this day, there was to be no rest.   After taking a breather they would meet up again at 5:00 for their wednesday practice session.

Final day of the extra training was a cooler day, a little marine air to help with the heat stroke conditions of the 1st three days.......all skills were honed under the watchful eye of Coach Griffiths and Sydney.    The Girls finished off their hard week with a tour around Moshier Field X 4.
