Highline Premier Football Club

Eagles '91 is a premier girls' soccer team out of the Highline Premier Football Club.  We will be playing in the Premier 2 Division of the Washington State Youth Soccer Association for the 2009-2010 season.  The team is made up of girls from the greater Seattle and Highline areas, and draws from as far away as Maple Valley, Covington, Puyallup and Orting.  Our head coach is Dan Keene who is ably assisted by Maya Mendoza-Exstrom and Mark Thommasen.  This is a group of young ladies dedicated to the continued development of their soccer skills toward future premier and college competition. 

         HPFC Eagles ’91 Blue won the Rocky Mountain College Showcase gold division tournament this past weekend (June 4-7), hosted by the Boulder County Force in Boulder, CO. The girls scored 13 goals in five games, conceding only two…including 4-1 semi-final victory playing much of the game with ten players. The girls played really well in their first outing of the 2009-2010 season, and the coaching staff is pleased with the progress, but eager to get back to training to raise the bar again. 

      In addition to the competition on the field, the girls battled thunder/lightning delays and even tornados en route to the tournament championship! Way to go girls! The Eagles are in action again at the Starfire Adidas Cup June 26-28^th.
