Summer Development Program

HPFC Development Academy is excited to offer camps for U6-U13 players on the following weeks during the summer:

June 29th - July 3rd
July 6th - July 10th
July 13th - July 17th

All camps will run from 9-12pm

The cost for each week is $100 (partial attendance can be pro-rated).

This is an exciting opportunity to get lots of personalized training with a coach who has 30 years of playing and coaching experience in over a dozen countries on four continents. Highline Premier Football Club (HPFC), provider of soccer excellence in the Highline community, proudly announces the addition of Alex Weaver as the Director of Coaching.

Highline Premier Football Club enthusiastically welcomes Alex Weaver. Alex brings a wealth of soccer knowledge and expertise formed by an outstanding career in coaching, management, and soccer program development. We welcome Alex’s professionalism, philosophy, and approach to youth soccer player development.

Education Qualifications:

· 2006-2007: FA Fitness Trainers Award (Part I and II)

· 2006: FA Youth Trainers Award (Age 17-21)

· 2005: FA Generic Tutor Training Award

· 2004: UEFA “A” License

· 2002-2005: BSc Coaching Science Degree (Mature Student), Liverpool John Moores University

· 1995-1998: Salford University, BTEC Higher National Diploma in Media

Experience:

· 2008-2009: Head Coach Seattle Wolves FC – Won 5 trophies and finished 3^rd in the Pacific Coast Soccer League. The club is going to compete in the USL Division II in 2010.

· 2005-2008: Director of Coaching, Manchester United Soccer Schools (US, South Africa, Dubai, Paris, & India) – Overall responsibility of designing and delivering a 12 month development program for recreational and elite youth players as well as Coach Education courses and practical sessions.

· 2003-2005: Head Coach, Manchester United Soccer Schools (UK) – Coaching children from 6 years of age up to 18 in all aspects of technical (1v1, 4v4, 8v8) and tactical skills in residential, roadshows, and overseas projects.

· 2002-2005: Head Coach, City of Stoke-on-Trent 6^th Form College/Newcastle Town FC (Under-19)

· 2001-2005: Head Coach, Newcastle Town FC (5 to 21 years old)

· 2003-2005: Reserve Team Manager, Newcastle Town FC (Senior Level)

· 2002-2004: Stoke City FC Academy (U11 to U13)

Eagles '97 Blue (GU11) - State Champs!!

Congratulations to the Eagles '97 Blue team for winning the WSYSA State Cup. The Eagles defeated the Columbia Timbers 3-2 in a hard fought match.

Many thanks to the coaching staff - Head Coach Danny Jackson and Assistant Coach Adrian Rita for an excellent season and a State Cup win.

WSYSA Girls Competitive Coach of the Year

Congratulations to Danny Jackson for being selected WSYSA Competitive Girls Coach of the Year.

Danny Jackson was the head coach of the Eagles '91 (U17) and Eagles '97 (U11) teams. Danny and his Eagles '97 won the GU11 State Cup on May 9th.

WSYSA Boys Competitive Coach of the Year

Congratulations to Marco De Oliveira for being selected WSYSA Competitive Boys Coach of the Year.

Marco De Oliveira was the head coach of the Heat '89 (U18) team. Marco and the Heat '89 won the BU18 State Cup in 2008.
